ITS A (drumroll)... baby still! Yeah, thats how I felt as well. I thought that we would find out the sex today, but it turns out that Angel just had more blood work done for the sequential screening. We met with Dr. BarrieMay again, and he told us the chances of our baby being down syndrome at this stage is pretty slim. That was reassuring, and gave us a positive feeling after all the poking and prodding. The doctor let us hear the heart beat again, which eased our minds that the baby is still healthy and strong! The baby is at 17 weeks and has a healthy heartbeat of 142 beats a minute. Angel's morning sickness has finally subsided with occasional hiccups, but is definitely feeling a little bit more normal these days. For those wondering, Angel is starting to show, and no longer has to draw a picture of a baby on her belly. With some good luck by the 20th week, we should finally get to find out if the baby is a boy or girl?
